the perfect 3 day workout split that built my base
I was 99 pounds in 10th grade when I first started working out. this isnt about how to get jacked like a bodybuilder, its about building a foundation. the most important thing for a fitness goal.
back to what i was saying. 99 pounds on the wrestling team. I wasn't sure where to look or how to find the correct things to do, but after doing some digging on YouTube, this is what I had put together that would fit into my schedule the best with sports and schoolwork.
Three days a week is enough to build anyone a solid base. Staying consistent is the most important thing because that is where you see the changes not only physically, but mentally it's where you grow and learn to feel what works with you and you can ultimately adjust this to your liking.
I will also mention diet, please a huge role and these days it seems that most people know what's good and what's bad for them. It just comes down to the mental strength to be able to consume the right foods or not during this time. Because I was very skinny I was eating maybe 4000 cal a day, but it all came from real foods and then supplemental protein meal shakes if your objective is to lose weight because you weren't a naturally skinny kid growing up then the most proven way to lose weight is to constantly be in a caloric deficit burning more calories than your consuming.
If people are interested, I can make another post about diet for gaining and losing weight.
